Twin Panda Cubs Having Their ‘First Outdoor Adventure’ Are Stealing Hearts Everywhere
Spring is in the air! And that goes for two pandas at the Zoo Berlin in Germany too. Video captured Pandas Leni and Lotti spending time in the sun for the first time recently. The two were having the best time! Hmmmm, we wonder if they’ve been waiting for the sunshine all winter long?
Video of the two pandas is beyond adorable. The panda cubs have yet to explore the outside enclosure. But now they’ll know it like the back of their paws!
So many people gathered around the enclosure to watch Leni and Lotti wander around for the first time. In the clip shared by ABC News, it shows the panda cubs climbing structures and chomping on bamboo. They’re so stinkin’ adorable!

Pandas at Zoo Berlin
If you love Giant Pandas, Zoo Berlin is the place for you! The zoo has been a home to several of these beautiful animals since 2017, who now call the Panda Garden their home. Included in the “garden” are, of course, Leni and Lotti, and older pandas Jiao Qing and Meng Meng, who are just as cute.
As we said, Leni and Lotti are the youngest members of the panda gang. Jiao Qing was born on July 15, 2010. Originally from China, Jiao Qing came to the zoo with Meng Meng. Jiao Qing is a big fella, weighing in at 108 kg.
Meng Meng is the other adult panda on the premises. A female, Meng Meng was born on July 10, 2013. She’s smaller than Jiao Qing, however, she weighs about 77 kg. But she and Meng Meng are close! The two have lived together since 2017 and the zoo hopes that they will one day have an offspring together.
There are lots of other animals at Zoo Berlin too! Take the Rhino Pagoda, where you can see some rhinoceroses of course! There are also boars known as Visayan Warty Pigs.
If big cats are more of your thing, the Empire of Cats is another great stop in the zoo! At this exhibit there are lions, jaguars, Bengal Slow Loris, and even an Aardvark or two.
Over at the Antelope House, you’ll find animals like giraffes, Gerenuks, Sitatungas, Defassa Waterbacks, and Northern Ground-Hornbills.
And that’s just the start of it! There are so many more animals to discover at Zoo Berlin. You might even see Leni and Lotti — they’ll be the ones spending their summer out in the sun.
