The Bucket List Family is back with a new travel-inspired book!

PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the book cover and details for the jet-setting family’s first children’s book, The Bucket List Family and the Big Adventure, written by Garret Gee and published by Disney Hyperion and National Geographic.

The book aimed at young readers is inspired by the globe-trotting family, consisting of Garret and Jessica Gee and their three children Dorothy, 11; Manilla, 9 and Callahan, 6 — encouraging kids to find new ways of creating adventures with their family wherever they are.

The heartwarming story follows character Dorothy Gee and her family as they set out on a real-life adventure after daydreaming about travel together.

“Dorothy Gee loves adventure days with her family. They’re the days she, her younger brothers and her mom and dad spend time together dreaming up adventures big and small — like flying an airplane over the Pyramids at Giza and soaring above the Nile,” an official synopsis teases. “But as their family life gets busier and busier, they find less time to play adventure.”

“Then one Saturday, her life changes forever: Mom and Dad roll out a map and ask Dorothy and her brothers, ‘Where should we go this time?’”

The book asks “What if we make these adventures happen, for real?” just like the Gee family did a decade ago.

Former high-tech entrepreneur Garret, 36, and Jessica, 38 became millionaires in 2015 after Garret sold his mobile scanning app to Snapchat for $54 million as a college student. The couple then sold everything they owned to travel world together.

“We were in a unique situation where all of a sudden we were these 28-year-old millionaires not really knowing what was next in life,” Jessica told PEOPLE in February 2024 of the experience. “I didn’t know what I wanted for my future. So I was like, ‘Let’s do a little bit of traveling, see what’s out there, experience the world.'”

Since becoming parents, the couple has traveled to more than 100 countries — and counting — with their kids. “Those were the famous last words. That’s when a little bit of traveling ended up as three years of full-time travel,” added Jessica.

The new kids book comes after the family’s first book Bucket List Family Travel, offering other families helpful parenting hacks for an easier vacation experience, released in 2024.

The Bucket List Family and the Big Adventure by Garret Gee will hit shelves from Disney Hyperion and National Geographic on Oct. 28 and is available for preorder now, wherever books are sold.
