Top three travel gadgets you need for your next family holiday!

Heading away with the family? Sure, you’ve got to pack enough socks and undies, and make sure you’ve got the toiletries. But what we really need to take stock of is gadget goodness!
For our trip, I was thinking about what are the most important things and narrowed it down to these three!
Portable Batteries!
It’s not ok to just have a battery packed. You’ve got to think about those long days! For us it’s the days where there’s something on in the day, then a Dodgers game at night. Or perhaps those long days at Disneyland!
I decided to not just get portable power, but buy into that some personal responsability.
By choosing coloured powerbanks from Belkin, I’ve created ownership. Oh, Harri, your phone is dead? What’s that, your battery is dead too? You really should have recharged it.
Oh you want to borrow mine? Oh, that’s going to cost you.

You see – ownership! Your battery, your power!
Belkin have a range in different capacities, I chose 10,000mAh given it’s more than enough for a full re-charge, but not too heavy it’s a burden to carry around.
Smart tracking!
We’ve all heard the stories about Apple AirTags being used in luggage tracking.
Frankly, you’re mad if you travel without them!

For me though, buying 8 of them (for all our luggage, and backpacks), I went for the Laser Smart Tags. These are Apple Find My compatible, so work the same as AirTags, but are cheaper.
The only difference I’m aware of is the lack of Ultra Wide Band which does that within 1-2m arrow finding on your phone. If I’m in the room with my luggage, I’ll spot it.
I also grabbed some of the Laser Smart Tags that are credit card sized – keep the wallets tracked too!
Headphones!
Always a tough call, but I’m going for the travel light plan here and opting for in-ear wireless earphones.
My choice is the JBL Tour Pro 3 which I took overseas with me last year and haven’t left my side since. They are outstanding for noise cancelling (As my mate Jake knows given his run-in with Police that he didn’t hear) – they have great JBL sound, nice adjustments in the JBL app – but the real kicker here is the USB-C input.

The included cable that goes 3.5mm audio to USB-C means you can plug this cable and case into the plane seat and listen wirelessly to whatever’s on the in-flight entertainment system!
